Front door of a house adorned with fall porch decorating ideas, including vibrant autumn wreaths and a window box filled with red and orange leaves. Pumpkins and gourds are arranged on the porch steps

Random thoughts on a sunny fall football morning:

1. We are going to help Whitney pick out a new (new to her) car today. I am not really a fan of the entire car-buying situation, but I want to be there for Whitney.

Wish us luck. 🙂

2. My favorite bras (that I love because they do NOT have any underwire) are having their annual BOGO sale that’s going on right now. It’s just for the next two days, and this is one of the biggest sales of the year.

This is my go-to favorite. and you can see the entire sale here.

3. I just finished reading the best book. It’s called The English Masterpiece. It’s about an assistant curator who walks through the Picasso exhibit at the museum where she works and without realizing what she’s doing calls out “forgery.” But is it a forgery? The rest of the book unpacks the mystery of the painting and there’s a love story and I learned so much about art.

I stumbled across the book and hadn’t read anything else by the author and I loved it.

You can see the book here.

4. It was a great week on the blog. Here’s what we chatted about:

5. I have a new puzzle game for us. It’s called “Woodoku” and it’s all about puzzle pieces. You try and twist them to fit into the blocks on the game.

You can search for it on the app store on your phone.

And now?

Here are some of my favorite ideas and inspirations I found for us this week.

A rectangular tart decorated with colorful, realistic marzipan pumpkins, berries, and autumn leaves sits on a wooden board. A metal cake server and rustic fall-themed decor are in the background.

Isn’t this the most beautiful fall cake?

It’s painted with food coloring.

You can see the how-to here.

A sliced bundt cake with white icing sits on a plate, while a piece of the cake is served on a smaller plate with a fork. A red and white checked cloth is in the background.

I am all about apples right now.

Doesn’t this apple cake look delicious?

Here are five easy recipes for fall.

A cozy fall-themed table setting with copper pots holding vibrant red, orange, and yellow flowers. A decorative pumpkin painted with floral designs sits beside a lit candle in a textured holder, on a rust-colored tablecloth.

This is the prettiest fall table decor.

And the pumpkin is hand-painted.

You can see all the details here.

Rustic outdoor dining table set with autumn-themed decorations, pumpkins, candles, and string lights overhead. Wooden chairs and barrels with fall floral arrangements surround the cozy, festive setup.

This table looks perfect for fall.

It’s all about the gathering and mingling the seasons.

A smiling woman in a red top stands by a table displaying numerous small, colorful model houses and barns. The room has navy blue walls, framed artwork, and a patterned curtain.

My husband snapped this picture of me hugging the barn.

I was so excited because Liese just dropped a new collection by the house.

They do run true to size! They don’t have an underwire and I wear the same size in these as I do in that other bra, I love that does have an underwire. It’s the only bra I found that does have the same support as an underwire. There is a little bit of something stiff that’s under the bottom of the cup but it’s not wire! Does this even make sense? Lol! happy day, karianne

That's a beautiful bra. Regarding them, how thick is the removeable pad? I don't need to appear any bigger than I am, so am looking for a "pad/liner" that is only thick enough to hide the nipples. If I remove the pad, bra material is usually too thin. Is their sizing chart accurate based on your experience? Thank you.

You can’t remove the pad on the ones I linked! I think they do have some in the shop that you can remove the pad on. But the ones I bought have the inner lining which does not have a pad and the outer lining which has a pad! I also find that they run true to size! Hope this helps! KariAnne

Wow on so many pretty fall items but especially on the cake painted with food coloring! And same on car buying. I find it extremely tedious and frustrating but we have to get around.... bleh

There is so much inspiration here KariAnne. I love fall and all the changes the season inspires. The little houses you are selling are adorable. It's so cute your husband photographed you "hugging" the barn. Also, "may the force be with you" when you go car shopping.
